Privacy Policy
SENTENCE (the "Service") is operated by 최은성 (the "Operator"). We process only what the Service needs. We don't track you for advertising, sell data, or use third-party analytics.
1. What we process and why

Drafts, reminder settings, muted words, the dot color, and the information shown in widgets stay on your device and are never sent to us. Photo library, camera, and microphone access are used only when you choose to attach or film something, and only what you pick is uploaded.
2. Retention
- Your account and content are kept until you delete your account. Deleting a sentence also deletes its attachment and translations.
- Deleting your account deletes your profile, sentences, attachments, reactions, saves, blocks, translations, attachment check results, and notification tokens without delay, and disconnects the Service from your Apple ID.
- Attachments that don't pass the automatic check are deleted right away. Request times for writing questions and attachment checks are deleted after one day.
- Your notification token is deleted when you turn off reaction notifications or sign out.
- Reports are de-identified when an account is deleted and removed, together with the reported text, 90 days after they're resolved.
- If a law requires us to keep something, we keep it separately and only for that period.

A sentence is sent to Anthropic only when you tap the translate button. Attached photos and videos are sent for the automatic check when you post them. Anthropic doesn't receive your account or profile.
4. What others can see
Others see your nickname, one-line bio, when you joined, and the sentences and attachments you post as Public. "Only Me" sentences are visible only to you. Reaction counts are visible only to the writer. People who block each other can't see each other's sentences.
A Public sentence can be shared as a link (sentence.today/s/…). Anyone with the link can see that sentence, your nickname, and its date on the web without signing in; attachments aren't shown on the web. If you make the sentence "Only Me" or delete it, the link stops working.
5. Your rights
You can access, correct, or delete your information, or ask us to stop processing it, at any time.
- Edit your profile: app → Profile → Edit Profile
- Change visibility or delete sentences: app → Archive
- Delete your account: app → Profile → Delete Account

6. Children
The Service isn't intended for anyone under 14. If we learn we hold information from someone under 14, we delete it promptly.
7. Security
- All connections are encrypted (HTTPS).
- Row-level access control lets you read only your own data directly; other people's data is served only through server functions that check visibility and blocks.
- Attachments are kept in private storage and served to permitted viewers through short-lived links.
- Server administrative keys are never included in the app.
